A colorful three-button fighter
Rainbowcore Hypernova is a 2D fighting game from Nucko Games with seven playable characters, each tied to a color of the rainbow. Battles are fast and dynamic, and every character has their own set of moves to learn. The controls are built around three buttons plus motion inputs, so you can pick it up quickly while still having room to grow. Fights take place in a surreal underground mushroom cave, and the soundtrack mixes epic music with absurd mouth noises.
Playing together
Your group can fight each other in local multiplayer on one screen, or take the battle online against other players. Online matches use peer-to-peer rollback netcode to keep things responsive. Remote Play Together is also supported, so friends can join in over a connection. If you prefer to practice on your own, singleplayer is an option too.
Before you start
The game is free to play. It supports controllers. One important note: Rainbowcore Hypernova contains many flashing images and animations, so it carries an epilepsy warning.
