Surviving the streets of Praslav

Hobo: Tough Life is an urban survival role-playing game set in Praslav, a cold Central European city still recovering from the political turmoil that followed the end of the Cold War. You play as one of the people who could not adapt to the new socio-economic climate and ended up on the streets with nowhere to go. Your job is to get through the forthcoming winter, which grows colder every single day. You will explore the open world, scavenge for food and supplies, beg, steal, and do whatever else it takes to make it to spring.

Your needs interact in realistic ways, so staying warm, dry, and well-fed is not your only concern. Poor hygiene and dirty clothes make you smellier, low temperature increases the risk of falling ill, and whatever food comes in must come out at some point. You are not an action hero, so consider your actions carefully. You can steal, burgle, consort with criminals, or take what you need by force, but the consequences are often severe and the benefits rarely outweigh the risks. Spend the last few days of autumn wisely by gathering supplies, equipment, and materials.

Playing together in online co-op

The game supports online co-op multiplayer for up to 4 players. You can play alone, together with your friends, or even with total strangers. Team up to collect resources, build a shanty town, and survive the winter as a group. If surviving on your own is too difficult, get the gang together and split the work of scavenging and staying warm.

Story, factions, and building a hideout

Unlike other survival games, Hobo: Tough Life leans heavily on its story content. You will experience dozens of storylines inspired by real-life events and people, solve quests, meet unique NPCs, gain their trust, make allies and enemies, and join various factions to find your place in the streets. For over a decade no one has united the many factions of the homeless, and the throne of the Homeless King has been sitting empty. Earn enough respect to prove yourself worthy of uniting them.

You do not have to sleep on park benches. Find a suitable place and get to work constructing walls and roofs to shield you from the elements. Gather discarded furniture and curios to furnish your hideout and make it truly your own.
