Artillery fought with equations

Graphwar is a turn-based artillery game played on a Cartesian Plane. Each shot follows the path of the mathematical function you write, so your aim is decided by the formula rather than a power meter. The goal is to hit the enemy while steering the curve around obstacles and, just as importantly, around your own teammates.

Playing together

The game supports Online PvP and Local Multiplayer, so a group can face off in the same room or over the internet. It also includes an Artificial Intelligence opponent for when the group wants practice or a solo round. Since the trajectory is the function itself, everyone at the keyboard or on the call gets to weigh in on which equation to try next.

Before you start

Turns are taken one at a time, so matches move at a deliberate pace while each player works out a curve. Expect to think about slopes, intercepts and shapes as much as about damage. The presentation is Minimalist and the genre is Casual, so the focus stays on the math and the positioning rather than on flashy effects. It is Free To Play and tagged with Education and Puzzle, which fits a game where a wrong sign or a misplaced constant sends the shot into a wall.
