Short rounds, constant action
Paint Warfare is a fast-paced online arena FPS built around 6-minute games and almost instant respawns. It leans casual rather than tactical: you drop in, fight, and if a round stops holding your attention you can leave and get into another match right away. The tone is light and cartoony, with stylized maps and a weapon list that runs from railguns and gas guns to oranges, spoons, and shotgun pistols. Movement is a big part of the fun: climb any wall by holding the space bar, double jump, slide or drop with CTRL, and use speed strips and boost ramps to fly across the map.
Playing together
You can play solo or with friends. Joining a friend's lobby is done through match codes, and you can also set up your own private game with your own rules. On the team side, the game offers Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, and Point Capture, alongside Free for All, Minigame, and Hunger Games. Six gamemodes and 13 maps give a group plenty of variety across short sessions, and private or custom games let you shape the match to suit your group.
Loadouts and unlocks
Before a round you pick a combo of 2 abilities from a pool of 10, which shapes how you play: Bullet Shield, Dash, Jetpack, Grapple Hook, Invisibility, Turret, Hang Glider, Super Speed Boots, Heal, Enemy Radar, and Half Shield. Pairing them is where the strategy sits — a Grapple Hook plus Jetpack build plays very differently from Turret plus Half Shield. Coins come from earning XP and completing challenges, and those unlock hats and gun skins for your rifle and character.
