Building and piloting your Granvir

Granvir is a third-person action roguelite where the mech itself is the build. Between battles you swap torsos, legs, armatures and special modules, and you fit weapons to whatever style you want to run. Melee options include swords, rocket spears and pile bunkers, while the long range side has cannons, machine guns, flamethrowers and rocket pods. Mixing both is allowed, so you can shape the Granvir around close pressure, ranged support or something in between. Parts you find on the battlefield are what you build from, and defeating enemy ace pilots unlocks their unique parts, which gives you a reason to hunt specific targets during a run.

Playing together as a group

Campaigns can be completed solo or in online co-op with up to 10 Granvir pilots at a time. Rest areas have a squad depot where you share parts and resources, so one player's spare torso or ammunition can go to whoever needs it. That sharing matters because you plan the next moves together before heading out. Since each player pilots their own Granvir, the group can spread roles across melee and ranged armaments rather than everyone building the same thing.

Running the campaign between missions

The campaign layer is where the roguelite decisions pile up. You pick your own route through a map of zones, and each zone changes which services and resources are available, so the path you take shapes what you can buy, refit and resupply. Battles push you toward extraction while side objectives cost valuable resources, which makes each detour a real trade. Between missions you manage time and money: taking on loans to afford ammunition, aiding the locals to earn support in battle, and spending downtime refitting and upgrading the Granvir. No two campaigns play out the same because the route, the resources you can scrape together and the parts you recover all shift run to run.
