What Funnel Runners is
Funnel Runners is a first-person survival game set in a city that an F5 tornado is about to hit. You take an on-site deployment with APEX Storm Monitoring Services: collect data, scavenge what you need, and get out before the weather tears everything apart. Tornados and storms spawn randomly, grow stronger over time, and destroy the map piece by piece. Buildings collapse section by section, and once an area is destroyed, the items in it are gone. Realistic graphics and the first-person view put you close to every gust of wind, distant siren, and falling bit of debris.
Playing it as a group
You can run the mission solo or team up with up to 7 friends. The job splits naturally: share gadgets between players, spread out across the city to cover more ground, and split the scavenging so one person is not doing everything. Everyone is working toward the same goal — gather vehicle parts, fuel, and tools, then repair the van and leave before the situation gets worse. Coordination matters because the storm does not wait, and areas you have not searched yet can be wiped out while you are elsewhere. Watch your footing: the wind can pick you up, and you may not be found again.
Before you start
Each playthrough randomizes the environment, the weather, the items you find, and the problems that show up on your vehicle, so a run you learn once will not repeat the same way. Expect escalating disasters rather than a fixed script — storms intensify as you go, and the map keeps degrading underneath you. Prioritize what the van actually needs and move fast once a neighborhood starts coming down, since destroyed areas stop yielding supplies. The game is in Early Access, so content and balance can shift as development continues.
