A shooter built around your cards

Friends vs Friends is a fast online first-person shooter where your loadout is a deck of cards. You collect weapon, trap, and curse cards, then level them up to make them hit harder. Each match is short and chaotic, with plenty of destruction in the arena. As you play, you gain player levels, unlock new cards, and improve the ones you already own. Timed challenges also hand out cards, so there is always something to work toward between matches.

Playing with your friends

The game supports 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, and Free-For-All, plus online co-op. You can matchmake with players worldwide in 1v1 or 2v2, or host private matches so your group picks the rules. Friends who are not in the fight can spectate. Team-based modes make card synergy matter: pick a character whose passive skill fits the deck you are running, then coordinate traps and curses with your teammate. If someone in the group is new, bots are available for practice, so they can test card combos before joining a real match.

Before you jump in

Every character has a unique passive skill, and those skills are meant to line up with the cards in your deck, so spend some time reading them before locking in. Cards come in three types: weapons, traps, and curses. Leveling a card increases its power, which means your deck grows stronger the more you play. Cosmetics such as skins and card design variants are unlocked along the way, and post-launch updates add new characters, cards, maps, and home base upgrades. The game is Steam Deck Verified.
