A burning building and a squad to command

Flash Point: Fire Rescue is a turn-based strategy game based on the board game from Indie Boards and Cards. You lead a team of specially trained firefighters through a structural fire, working to find the survivors trapped inside before the building comes down. Fire spreads across the floor plan, walls can be destroyed, and explosions are a constant risk, so every turn has to count. The game keeps the tabletop feel in a light-hearted digital form, with a colorful, family-friendly presentation rather than a grim disaster simulation.

Playing together as one crew

This is a cooperative game: the group shares one goal, getting the survivors out, rather than competing against each other. You plan your moves around limited action points and the specialized abilities each firefighter brings, so the crew has to talk through who goes where, who tackles the flames, and who carries someone to safety. Remote Play Together is supported, which lets friends join in from their own setups while you coordinate over voice chat. Expect to spend turns weighing a quick dash through a hot room against a safer route that costs more actions.

Two rulesets to match your group

Family Rules mode is simplified and quick to learn, suited to a casual evening where you want to be playing within minutes. Experienced Rules mode is the deeper option: each member of your squad carries a distinct skill set that has to be applied as the scenario shifts under you. The Rescue Specialist can break through walls and cut direct paths through the building, the Paramedic revives unconscious survivors, and the Fire Captain orders team members out of dangerous positions, among other roles. Pick the mode that fits how much thinking your group wants to do before the first alarm goes off.
