A tactical co-op RPG built for game night

Sunderfolk is a turn-based tactical RPG where up to four players work together across the Sunderlands. Every turn is shaped by shared strategy: you play powerful skill cards, decide your turn order, and plan each move as a team. Battles are challenging, with enemies to outsmart and bosses to face down, and the choices you make matter. Between fights, you return to the village of Arden to upgrade shops, find gear, share meals, and talk with the locals.

Two ways to play together

Your group can play online with native multiplayer, where each player uses a mouse and keyboard with their skill cards and stats on their own screen. Everyone playing this way needs to own the game. Alternatively, you can play couch co-op with phones as controllers: only the host owns the game, and friends join for free with the Sunderfolk Controller app, which becomes their hand of cards, guidebook, and controller. They scan a QR code on a shared screen to get in. Remote Play Together is also supported.

Before you start

A free trial covers the first four missions, letting you test tactical encounters and try both control styles with the full roster of heroes. Progress carries over to the full game. The game is family friendly and PvE, with a colorful isometric presentation and a party-based, class-driven setup.
