What Fireworks Mania is
Fireworks Mania is a small casual explosive simulator where you light fireworks, build shows, or just blow things up. It runs on physics, so the same setup rarely plays out the same way twice. That unpredictability is the point: things go sideways, props tumble in unexpected directions, and the mess becomes the fun. You can play on your own, or drop into community hosted games with other people. The game is short and casual by design, but creative players can spend a long time staging a full firework show or wandering a map looking for something worth detonating.
Playing it with friends
Fireworks Mania supports online co-op, and you join through community hosted games rather than a matchmaking queue. Everyone is in the same physics sandbox, so you can split up roles naturally: one person sets up a sequence of fireworks while another lines up props, or the whole group just piles explosives into one spot and watches what happens. Because the simulation reacts differently every run, a show you rehearsed together can still surprise you when you fire it off in front of the group. Expect the fun to come from shared chaos as much as from a carefully planned display.
Before you start
The built-in Workshop gives you access to thousands of community-made items: fireworks, props, maps and characters. That library is where most of the variety lives, so browsing it early tells you what kinds of setups are possible. The game is first-person, physics-heavy and cartoony rather than realistic, and it leans into comedy when plans fall apart. It is tagged as short and casual, so a session can be as brief as you want it, but the sandbox and moddable items give it more depth than the small scope suggests. Expect destruction, exploration of the environments, and a physics system that will occasionally do something you did not intend.
