Build anything, then break it
Brick Rigs is a physics sandbox where you build vehicles, machines, creatures and buildings in the Brick Rigs Editor, then drive, fly or crash them. The editor lets you put together detailed models with working mechanics, so a flying submarine is fair game if you have the patience. When you would rather not build, the Steam Workshop is full of community creations to grab, from minivans to transport planes to skyscrapers. Destruction is a core part of the loop: dynamic physics send bricks flying on every crash, and seeing how far your creation can be torn apart is half the point.
Playing together
You can mess around solo or with friends. The game supports online PvP, and the community runs roleplay servers, high-speed chases and large multiplayer pileups. Team up, race, chase each other, or just drop a build into the open world and see what happens when everyone starts crashing into it. Players keep inventing new ways to play, so sessions tend to go wherever the group wants to take them.
Before you start
Brick Rigs is in Early Access, so expect things to change over time. Building detailed models takes patience, but you can skip straight to the fun by loading Workshop creations instead. The sandbox has no set objective — you decide what to do, whether that is firefighting, flying, driving, or general chaos. Bob, the game's mascot, has been around since the beginning and does pretty much nothing, which sets the tone nicely.
