What Fight Crab 2 is about
Fight Crab 2 is a physics-based 3D fighter where armored humans ride immortal crabs into battle. The goal is simple to understand and hard to execute: build up damage on your opponent to increase your knockback power, then flip them onto their white underbelly and hold them down for a 3-count to win, wrestling style. Since the crabs are immortal, you are not trying to knock them out — you are trying to destroy their pride by turning them upside down.
Weapon choice matters for how you get there. Sharp weapons like swords and spears deal more damage, while blunt objects like baseball bats push harder. You pick one weapon for each claw, so a loadout might be a shield and a cannon, a flaming spear and a boxing glove, or two yo-yos. Beyond the 70+ weapons there are 40+ passive and active abilities to equip, covering things like auto-parry, extra weapon durability, and lighting up nearby weapons. The 20+ available crabs each carry distinct attributes such as weight, agility, grip strength and toughness, so your crab and your gear together define your fighting style.
Playing with your group
Online play covers both casual and ranked matches, plus battle rooms with up to 5-player lobby waiting support, so a group can sit in a room together and take turns or pair off. Remote Play Together is also supported, which lets friends join in over a single copy. The developer describes the intended mix as casual room matches with friends on one side and competitive ranked play on the other, and notes you can queue for an online match while raising crabs in Career Mode at the same time.
Before you start
Two control schemes are available: simplified arcade controls, or the dual-stick claw control from the original Fight Crab, where left and stick movements map directly to swings and thrusts on screen. Pick whichever fits your group — the physics-based version gives finer control but asks more of you. Any damage you take fills the Crab Gauge, which unleashes tide-turning attacks like assist animals and long-range laser eyes, so getting hit is not purely a loss.
Arenas include open deserts, villages full of homes, floating sky platforms where falling off is a real risk, and basketball courts, with obstacles you can use — knocking enemies into a moving train counts. Career Mode is the singleplayer path for leveling up a crab and earning weapons, spells and skills across event modes. The game is in Early Access, and the developer is collecting feedback during this period.
