Breaking into the safe house
"Escape Memoirs: Safe House" is a co-operative reverse escape-room puzzle game. You are a member of a criminal organization sent to fetch some important equipment from one of your own safe houses. The person with the keys is nowhere to be found, so the only way forward is to break in. The game is played in first person and follows a linear path through a cozy safe house, so the route is clear and the focus stays on the puzzles in front of you.
Solving the puzzles
The challenges cover deductive reasoning and safes of all kinds, so expect a mix of logic problems rather than action. You will need to read the situation, work out what each mechanism wants, and keep your wits about you to finish the job. The safe house also hides plenty of collectibles, so it pays to look around as you move through each room instead of rushing straight to the next lock.
Playing with friends
You can play solo or team up with friends in up to 5-player multiplayer. Online Co-op is supported, so you can pick up a friend or four and go burgling together. Splitting up the search, comparing notes on a stubborn safe, and pooling what each person has spotted is the core of the co-op experience. Everyone works toward the same goal: get inside, gather the tools, and get out.
