Two heroes, one screen

Entropy Survivors is a bullet hell roguelike where you control a sword-wielding mech and a sharpshooting space frog at the same time. You fight the forces of Entropy with cartoon weapons and strange abilities, moving through alien landscapes filled with colorful explosions and chain reactions. Each level runs about 20 minutes and packs in the sights and sounds of a whole arcade. The game works as a standalone story, even though it is set in the Shoulders of Giants universe.

Playing together

You can play alone or join 2-4 players online. With friends, you build synergetic loadouts that complement each other, or you compete to see who posts the highest score. The co-op is described as genre-bending, so expect the shared screen to get busy as everyone juggles their own mech and frog against swarms of enemies.

Before you start

Weapon customization is a big part of the run. You unlock dozens of options to power up and shape your own playstyle, from garbage trucks to a gun that shoots bees. Ammunition is not always the answer either: an empty shotgun can be thrown at enemies, and a spear can be used to skewer food. Since you control two characters at once, expect to split your attention between melee and ranged combat while dodging dense bullet patterns.
