Turning a hostile planet into a home

Eden Crafters puts you on a planet that does not want you there, and gives you the tools to change that. You gather materials, craft tools, and build up from a basic camp into production chains that run themselves. The end goal is terraforming: tempering the climate, creating a breathable atmosphere, and turning toxic lakes into water that can sustain life. Survival and automation sit side by side, so you are always balancing staying alive with expanding what your machines can do.

The base game includes 5 planets, each with its own environmental challenges. Ocean World throws giant waves at you, Pyraxis is filled with lava, Aetheria gets hit by asteroid storms, Nova Terra holds the remains of a failed colony, and Echo Prime gives off a strange signal worth investigating. Vehicles help you cover ground, and the open world leaves room to explore between building sessions.

Playing together in online co-op

The game works in singleplayer or online co-op, so you can take a planet on alone or split the work with friends. In co-op, the usual split falls naturally: some players handle exploration and gathering while others lay out factories and conveyor routes, and everyone feeds into the same terraforming goals. Because the systems are interconnected, a well-placed production chain benefits the whole group rather than one player's inventory.

There is no forced role structure, so a group can reorganize whenever it suits them. One session might focus on surviving whatever the current planet throws at you, and the next on pushing automation further so the machines keep working while the group explores.

Before you start

Expect a game about systems rather than a quick story beat. You will spend time setting up resource gathering, connecting machines with conveyors, and tuning production until efficiency is where you want it. Terraforming progress comes from those systems working over time, so early sessions are about laying foundations and later ones about scaling up.

Pick a planet knowing its specific hazard, since each one changes what you need to prepare. Bring patience for the building and resource management loop; the reward is watching a hostile world slowly become the flourishing place you and your group built.
