What ECO HOLE is
ECO HOLE is a survival game for one or two players. Strange events have started happening in the world, and people are turning into monsters. You play as mysterious heroes who appeared at the right moment and want to stop the nightmare at any cost. The game is presented from an isometric and third person view, with a dark, atmospheric and realistic look. Different characters have different main goals on each map, so the first thing you do is explore the area and find what you need to pass. The game includes PvE, puzzle, survival, crafting, action and adventure elements, along with loot and inventory management.
How a group plays it together
Online co-op lets two players go through the disturbing challenges as a duet. The gameplay becomes more intense and forces both players to act as a team. While one of you is busy with puzzles and exploration, the monsters do not sleep, and they get angrier. Each of the monsters needs a different approach, so you have to split attention between solving problems and keeping the threats under control. Multiple maps give you new areas to explore, and each subsequent environment brings new intense challenges. A single mode is also available if you want to go into an unknown area inhabited by monsters alone.
What to know before starting
The game carries dark, gore and conspiracy themes, so expect disturbing content. Monsters will haunt you while you work on puzzles, which means the pressure does not stop just because you are solving something. Inventory management and crafting are part of the loop, so you will be sorting loot and preparing as you move through each map. Different characters have different main goals, so a run can change depending on who you pick. The tone is intense and the situations are desperate, which fits the survival focus of the game.
