A night job inside a strange building
Emissary Zero sends you into a mysterious building after dark with one goal: find the Moon and get back out alive. Your manager is the only support you have, so the rest of the work falls on you. The building is large and changes as you move through it, with plenty of corners to search and tasks to complete. Along the way you deal with various creepy monsters, which means part of the game is knowing when to hide and when to move. The tone is dark and survival-focused rather than a straight combat game.
Playing it with friends
You can go in alone or bring up to three other people for a four-player online session. The game includes in-game voice chat, so coordinating while you split up and cover different rooms is part of the experience. There is also splitscreen for two players if you prefer sharing one screen. Remote Play Together is supported, which lets someone join your session even if they do not have the game. Either way, the group works through the same building and the same tasks together.
What you will actually be doing
Expect a mix of exploration, puzzles and resource handling. You find things, move them, repair what is broken, connect what needs connecting, and observe your surroundings for clues. Some of it leans toward escape-room style problem solving, and some of it is about staying quiet and out of sight when something is nearby. Going in with a plan for who carries what and who watches which hallway helps more than rushing. The game is built by a single developer, so the scope stays focused on this one location and its tasks rather than a wide open world.
