Two Minotaurs in a Split Labyrinth
DYO is a 2D puzzle platformer for one or two players. You guide two Minotaurs through a cursed maze, but each one is stuck in its own half of a split screen. The levels are built so that neither Minotaur can reach the exit alone. There are no enemies, no timers, and no demanding jumps, so the challenge comes from reading the level and figuring out how to open a path.
Merging the Screen to Solve Puzzles
The core trick is merging the two halves of the split screen into one. When you merge, you can hop from one side of the screen over to the other, and the level structures shift with you. Splitting the screen again puts everything back. You spend the level rearranging the maze by merging and splitting, using the change to move platforms, reach new ground, and carve a route to the exit. Each level can have more than one solution, so a strange idea might still work.
Playing Together and Getting Started
The game is built for local co-op with two players, and one player can also handle both Minotaurs alone. If you only have one controller, both players can share it. The set is 30 levels, which takes roughly 3 to 4 hours. The developers recommend playing with a friend for the full experience. Remote Play Together is supported, so a friend can join over a remote session.
