Ducks in Napoleonic Wars
Duckoleon is a multiplayer first-person and third-person shooter where the Napoleonic era is played out by ducks. Battles are described as mildly historically accurate, with historical uniforms, line infantry, cavalry, and artillery on the field. The game leans into satire and memes, so expect a colorful, stylized look rather than a serious war simulator. Matches take place across expansive historic and original battlefields, each offering different strategic possibilities.
Playing Together
As an online PvP game, your group joins the same matches and fights alongside or against each other. You can pick different roles to cover the field: lead the line, fill the ranks with flint and steel, fire rockets and roundshot from the artillery, or ride into battle on goose-back. The clan system lets you enlist together under a historic faction, and outside community programs common to the genre help you find your favorite factions. Personal host settings let you tailor each match to your group's preferences, and you can add up to 100 bot Quackers to fill out the ranks, led either by their own bot leader or by players.
Before You Start
Everyone begins with access to the Militia and the Armed Citizenry logistic regiments, so new players can get their bearings before unlocking more. As you gain experience, you unlock famous regiments across the nations, each with its own specialization and tactical resources, which opens up more ways to play. Cosmetics and medals let you customize your duck with items like a dagger-in-beak, a rose, or reading spectacles. Weekly events through the Feathered Frontline community reward grant unique awards to players who take part.
