Drift86

Drift86 is an arcade drifting game from RewindApp. You pick a car and try to build the biggest drift combo you can while Eurobeat plays in the background. The focus is on the drift system itself: holding a slide, chaining it, and pushing your score higher. It is a score attack game as much as a racer, so the run ends when you stop stringing drifts together rather than when you cross a finish line.

Playing with friends

The game supports Online PvP, so you can launch a multiplayer race and drift alongside other players. There is live chat built in, which lets you talk to the people in the lobby while you drive. You can also play on your own and chase records solo. The Steam feature list includes Online PvP, and the store text mentions multiplayer races and live chat with other players.

Before you start

There are more than 40 cars and more than 30 maps to work through, including the 86. The game is tagged as retro, colorful, short, family friendly, casual, relaxing, and arcade, so expect a light, approachable take on driving rather than a strict simulation. It works with an Xbox controller. The store text also notes that driving technique is not something you can obtain in a few days, so give yourself time to get the feel of the drift system before judging your scores.
