A drift simulator built around car setup
CarX Drift Racing Online is a drift simulator with physics developed together with the CarX Motorsport team, a regular competitor in RDS GP. You get over 120 cars, from JDM-style machines to vintage muscle cars, each with a wide selection of body kits and parts. The livery system is flexible enough to build whatever visual style you want, and the tuning side goes deep: five types of modifications, a variety of engines, and over 50 settings let you shape a car to your own driving style. The tracks cover city streets, mountain serpentines and racetracks — 19 of them in total, plus hundreds of community-made maps in the Workshop.
Playing together with friends
Multiplayer runs without restrictions: you can create your own room or join one that already exists, and there are no rules to follow. Up to 16 players can drift together across platforms, so a mixed group can share the same session. Chat is there for hanging out, driving around, showing off liveries and setups, and experimenting with each other's builds. If your group wants something with structure, TOP-32 mode puts your mastery to the test across dozens of configurations. Co-op and PvP are both on the table, and the game also supports single-player if someone wants to practice alone first.
Before you start
Assists for controllers and keyboards get you sliding quickly, while a steering wheel setup exposes the full challenge of real drifting — so the group does not need matching hardware to join in. Difficulty is adjustable, and the game can be played at your own pace without timed input, which suits a relaxed session. Camera Comfort and custom volume controls are available if motion or audio becomes tiring. Keyboard-only and mouse-only options exist for players who prefer them, and Steam Workshop support means your group can pull in community maps and share its own creations. Achievements, Steam Cloud and trading cards round out the extras, and VR is supported for anyone who wants to sit inside the cockpit.
