What DR Dominoes is

DR Dominoes is Dominican partner dominoes played in 3D. It uses a double-six set of 28 tiles, four players split into two teams, seven tiles each. There is no boneyard and no drawing: you play what you were dealt or you pass. Leads, passes, blocked games and capicúas are all in, with nothing trimmed from the vocabulary. Games run to 100, 120, 150 or 200 points, so you pick whether you want a quick round or a long one. The chain turns the corner when it runs out of table, the way it does on a real table, and no tile wanders off out of sight. Tiles have weight, light and sound, and the table is meant to be readable at a glance rather than buried under menus.

Playing together

You can sit at a private room and share a code so everyone is seated in seconds, or drop into a public table through the room browser while it is still filling up. Steam friends can be invited straight from the overlay, with your friends list right there in the lobby. If your connection drops, your chair stays put and you can reconnect.

The voice chat is proximity-based rather than a flat channel: you hear each player from where they are sitting. Your partner is across from you, the player about to lock up the table is on your left, and you hear them coming. Text chat is there for when the mic stays off or when a comment belongs in writing. The table also carries sound — a tile slapping wood, the complaining, the silence from the one who already knows what is coming.

Before you start

Offline mode puts the full table against the AI, with no internet needed. That AI counts tiles, remembers what you passed on, and locks up the table when you do not expect it, which makes it useful for practice, for rounding out a partnership, or for playing alone. Your profile keeps stats: wins, blocks and win rate. The game runs on Windows, macOS and Linux. Pull up a chair, shuffle, and do not get caught holding the double six.
