A national race festival in Radiator Springs
Mater is putting on a national race festival, and racers from all over the world have come to take on Lightning McQueen. Alongside the new characters, you get to drive around Radiator Springs and Lightning McQueen's racing headquarters. The game is a racing game from Rainbow Studios with a story to follow as you take part in the festival.
Racing, exploring, and mini-games
The festival is built around racing against the newcomers, but there is more to do than just lap the track. The world of Radiator Springs and Lightning McQueen's headquarters are there to explore between events. On top of that, there are more than 20 mini-games to tackle, including Ramone's Rhythmic Rumble and Fillmore's Fuel Frenzy, so the sessions can shift from a straight race into a quick side challenge. Mike and Sulley from Monsters, Inc. make an appearance as well.
Playing together
Remote Play Together is supported, so one person can host and others can join in from their own setup. The game carries a Singleplayer tag alongside a Multiplayer tag, so you can run through the festival on your own or bring friends along for the races and mini-games. It is tagged Family Friendly, which fits the tone of the cast and the variety of side activities.
