A shift at the diner
"DINNERDINNNER" is a first-person horror adventure set in the modern era. You work as a staff member at the diner "DINNERDINNNER" and move through the morning, afternoon, and evening. The town is full of peculiar people: customers with bizarre stories, others making trivial small talk, and some discussing things that make no sense. The place feels unsettling, but life goes on as usual. The game leans on atmosphere rather than big plot twists, with a storyline that stays level without major highs and lows.
How you play
This is a walking simulator at its core. Moving around triggers events, and examining objects is what pushes the story forward. There are no quest markers and no time pressure, so you can take the shift at your own pace. The whole run takes about 10 to 20 minutes, which makes it easy to fit into a short session.
Playing together
The Steam version supports Remote Play Together, so friends can join in from their own machines while one person owns the game. The store text lists the game as singleplayer, so treat Remote Play Together as a way to share the screen rather than a built-in multiplayer mode. It works well as a group watch: one person walks the diner and the others react to the strange customers and conversations as they show up. Streaming is allowed for individuals and businesses without needing permission, which suits groups that want to broadcast the session.
