What Deep Blue: Devour and Evolve is about

You swim as a fish in an underwater world where everything is trying to eat everything else. The loop is simple: defeat opponents, take flesh fragments from them, and use those resources to grow bigger and hit harder. As you level up, you evolve into a different fish species at random, which changes how you fight. Coins let you unlock specific species such as swordfish and great white sharks, each with its own exclusive skills. The game is tagged as Action, Simulation, Action RPG, Roguelike, Roguelite, Souls-like, Survival, and Casual, with a 3D third-person view and character customization.

Playing it with your group

The game supports Online Co-op and Online PvP, so your group can team up against the food chain or turn on each other. In co-op, you pool your growth and cover each other while you hunt; in PvP, every fish in the water is a target. Species-specific skills mean each person in your group brings a different combat style, and the random evolution on level-up keeps runs from feeling the same. Coordinate who chases what and who holds back, since size and tactics decide who ends up on top.

Before you start

Expect a ruthless food chain where bigger fish hunt smaller ones, so early on you are prey as often as predator. Growth comes from defeating opponents and plundering flesh fragments, and coins are what let you pick a species outright instead of relying on the random evolution. Character customization is available, and the game is playable singleplayer as well as online. The tags include Underwater, Relaxing, Fantasy, and 3D Platformer alongside the combat-focused ones, so the tone mixes casual exploration with survival pressure.
