What Dawson Oaks Trailer Park is

Dawson Oaks Trailer Park is a proximity voice chat social deduction game. You play in a trailer park where criminals carry out secret crimes while a Supervisor watches everyone and a hidden Snitch feeds information from inside the group. Voice chat is tied to proximity, so who you stand near decides who hears you. That makes planning a crime in the open a bad idea and whispering in a corner a real tactic.

There are 11 unique Suspect roles: Drug Dealer, Junkie, Moonshine Cook, Creep, Scrapper, Pyromaniac, Gambler, Thief, Drunk, Prankster and Hobo. Each role comes with its own urges you need to commit to stay sane. Waiting too long makes you unstable, and an unstable suspect is easier for others to expose. So you are always balancing the urge to act against the urge to stay quiet.

How the group plays together

The Suspects work as a team, but not openly. You commit your role-specific crimes without being obvious about it, and the longer you hold back the more you risk giving yourself away. The Supervisor's job is the opposite: watch everyone, work out who is doing what, and call the police before it is too late. The Supervisor only has power when they have information, so reading the park carefully matters more than acting fast.

The Snitch plays both sides. They blend in as an ordinary Suspect, track what everyone is doing, and secretly report it all to the Supervisor. They know more than anyone else, but if the other Suspects work out who they are, they are finished.

Meetings and votes

At any moment the Suspects can call a meeting. Everyone gathers, acts friendly, and votes on who they think the Snitch is. Guess wrong and the real Snitch stays hidden and keeps feeding the Supervisor. Guess right and the Suspects take control of the round. Meetings are where the group argues it out, so paying attention to who voted which way is as useful as watching the crimes themselves.

Before you start

Expect a game where talking is part of the mechanics, not just chat. Your voice carries to whoever is nearby, and the Supervisor and Snitch are both listening for anything useful. Roles give you different urges to satisfy, so read your role before the round starts and know what you are supposed to be doing. The setup supports online co-op and online PvP, and it is built around team-based play with a party-based RPG feel.
