What Wise Guys is about
Wise Guys is a social deduction game for up to 12 players, set inside a criminal operation that is about to get raided. The crew has a limited amount of time to clean up: sweep the building for bugs, load duffle bags with cash, guns and drugs, and get those bags to the van before the Feds kick the door in. Tasks are physics based, so handling the bags and objects is part of the challenge. On top of the work, the group has to deal with a Rat who is quietly sabotaging everything from the inside. The Boss is furious after being tipped off, and he is looking to make an example out of someone, so accusations fly and a wrong call can get you killed. The game is in Early Access.
Playing together
Everyone takes on one of four roles. The Boss calls the shots and decides who lives and who dies, but rage and betrayal can cost him control. Wise Guys are the crew doing the work, stashing contraband while the room spirals into chaos, with no rank to protect them. The Rat moves in plain sight, sabotaging, stealing contraband and draining the timer while sowing doubt and framing others, though pushing too hard can trigger panic mode and getting caught exposes them. The Fed works alone against the group, gathering evidence to build a case while staying hidden. The match runs on Online PvP, so the group plays together over the network.
Before you start
Combat is melee focused: punch, kick, stomp, or grab whatever object is nearby from an arsenal of melee weapons. Expect violence, gore and cartoon-style visuals alongside the psychological tension. The game is Early Access, so things may still change as it develops.
