What Crisis Brigade 2 reloaded is
Crisis Brigade 2 reloaded is a first-person on-rails shooter built for Virtual Reality. The loop is simple: take cover, point, shoot, and keep moving through fast-paced firefights. You are one of an elite few sent into high-risk missions to save a city whose streets are being overrun, and you are authorized to take down the enemy by any means. The tone goes back to the 90's arcade machines, but with the immersion VR brings to aiming, ducking behind cover, and trading fire with fierce enemies up close. Expect intense physical gameplay, powerful weapons, challenging levels, realistic scenarios, and boss battles at the end of a run. The game is in Early Access and carries violent and gory content.
Playing it with your group
Co-op multiplayer mode is available, so you and a friend can run the missions side by side and cover each other through the shootouts. There are leaderboards if your group wants to compare results after a session, and four difficulty levels let you pick something that fits whoever is playing that night. Between fights you can collect and unlock upgrades to equip before the battle, and you can choose your weapon and player skins, which gives each of you a way to stand out when you line up together.
Before you start
This is a VR title, so everyone needs a headset to play. It supports bHaptics and ProTubeVR for added physical feedback, and it is designed with no motion sickness in mind, which matters for a 6DOF first-person shooter where you will be turning and reacting quickly. The on-rails structure means movement is handled for you, so your attention stays on cover, aiming, and shooting rather than navigation. Since the game is in Early Access, expect it to still be in development as you play.
