Running a shop in New Yolk City
Crime Shop Simulator: A Prison Boss Game is a VR crafting and shop management game. You own stalls in New Yolk City and make merchandise to sell, from beer and cigarettes to erotic magazines and other items. The Mayor keeps changing what is banned, so the list of what you can legally produce shifts as you play. The New Yolk Police Department is watching for contraband, and if they catch you they seize your merchandise and shut the business down. The goal is to earn cash, take special jobs for the city's factions, build reputation, and grow from a small stall into a bigger operation. The game includes 3 different levels and more than 20 items to craft, plus leaderboards.
Playing with a friend
You can play solo or in online co-op with one partner. Two people work the shop together, splitting the crafting and selling while keeping an eye out for police. A partner can also be a stranger matched from the internet. Both of you share the same risk: getting caught hurts the business for everyone involved, so coordination matters. One person can keep producing while the other handles sales and watches for a crackdown, or you can trade roles as the situation changes.
What to know before starting
This is a VR game with first-person, physics-based interaction, so expect to handle items with your hands rather than clicking through menus. Crafting is the core loop: brew, roll, and assemble goods, then sell them to customers ranging from workers to the wealthy. Cash goes back into upgrades for your shops and equipment to improve efficiency, and into cosmetic changes for your character's look. Special jobs from the factions are the route to reputation, separate from regular sales. The tone is comedic and light, but the police mechanic means you are always balancing profit against the chance of a seizure.
