What Cat Gets Medieval is
You play a magical cat in a big open fantasy kingdom that is falling apart around you. The royal crown has been shattered and its six fragments are scattered across the land, and recovering them is what stands between the realm and the darkness creeping in. Along the way you scale ancient battlements, slip into human settlements, and dig through crypts, caves, dungeons and abandoned fortresses looking for lost artifacts. Dungeons hold relics that awaken elemental abilities: fire that roars from your throat, shadows that bend to your will, and beams of arcane force that blaze from your eyes. Each character can only use the artifacts that match their own element, so your build shapes what you can do in a fight and what you can open up while exploring.
Playing it with your friends
Online Co-op lets you gather a group and travel the kingdom together as a crew of cats. You split up or push through quests as a pack, cover each other while climbing, and pool your elemental abilities against whatever is guarding a fragment. The game carries a character progression system that improves strength, health and magic, so the crew gets more capable as you work through the world rather than only collecting loot. Tons of quests and interactive characters fill the map, which means a group can pick different problems to solve, or cause some of their own, without running out of things to do.
Before you start
Expect a long haul: six crown pieces spread across a large interactive open world, plus the dungeons and fortresses hiding the artifacts that feed your abilities. Character customization is part of the package, so each of you can build a cat that looks and plays like your own. There are multiple endings, so how your group handles the kingdom leaves a mark on how it finishes. The tone is comedic and family friendly, full of cats causing chaos among mortals, so the writing stays light even when the dungeons get serious. Pick your elements early, keep an eye on progression, and decide as a crew whether you are here to help the kingdom or ransack it.
