Cook for Hoochooboo

Cannibal Cuisine is an arcade-style cook 'em up where the god Hoochooboo is hungry, and serving him beats being served up yourself. You gather fruits and vegetables and chop up tourists to prepare divine meals. Getting the ingredients takes some fight, since the tourists do not give themselves up willingly, so you need sharp reflexes and your special powers to avoid getting KO'd. The combat is fast and cartoony, with a colorful, violent look that fits the tongue-in-cheek premise.

Playing together

You can cook solo or with up to 4 chefs, either in cooperation or against each other in PvP foodfights. Online Co-op, Online PvP, and Remote Play Together are supported, and the game also allows 4 player local play. With several chefs in the kitchen, things get chaotic fast. In multiplayer, each chef picks a different special ability to suit their style, so a group can split roles between dashing, placing healing totems, and breathing fire to bake. Coordinating who chases tourists and who handles the cooking is the core of the co-op experience.

Across the island

The campaign takes you through many levels across the island: bushwhack through tourist-filled jungles, dodge spikes in mysterious temples, stay clear of lava underground, and cook on the beach and inside a volcano. Beyond regular cooking levels, there are extra challenges, such as outrunning the Spikey Log of Doom, fighting waves of tourists, and taking on the tour boss in the jungle arena. You can also pick different weapons and accessories to change your cannibal couture.

The Curse of the Scarab King

A free content update, 'The Curse of the Scarab King', adds a new desert environment where the Scarab King has cursed the land and spawned Hoochooboo all over it. Defeating him lifts the curse. This update brings 5 regular cooking levels plus a challenge level, along with new mechanics, extra deadly traps, and cosmetics in the desert theme.
