What Brimstone Brawlers Is
Brimstone Brawlers is a gothic arena brawler set in a cursed city on the edge of collapse, where toxic industry, black magic, and unchecked violence have turned the streets into a battleground. It mixes hazard-filled stages with MOBA-style abilities, so you are not just landing hits but also working around what the arena throws at you. You fight as unique misfits, including cursed townsfolk, rogue inventors, and unlicensed exorcists. The setting is dark and gothic, a city held together by rust, grime, and dark magic, and the tone leans into comedy as much as combat. The arenas are dynamic 3D spaces with explosive map mechanics you can use against other players.
Playing Together
You can brawl solo, with bots, with friends, or with randoms, across local and online multiplayer. Local co-op and local multiplayer are supported, and Online Co-op, Online PvP, and Remote Play Together are available for groups that are not in the same room. Multiple game modes let you brawl, bash, or ball, so your group can pick how competitive or chaotic the session gets. The hazard-filled stages mean the environment itself is a factor: exploding barrels, collapsing catwalks, and toxic sludge can swing a fight just as much as your abilities do. Tricking friends with explosive map mechanics is part of the fun when everyone is in the same match.
Before You Start
This is Early Access, so the game is still in development and things may change as it is updated. Brawlers unlock by playing the game, so your roster grows over time rather than starting complete. There is a single-player campaign with handcrafted fights that include unique modifiers, challenges, and boss encounters, which is a good way to learn the cast and the arenas before jumping into multiplayer. The soundtrack is an industrial victorian score by Andy Gillion, solo artist, songwriter, and lead guitarist of Mors Principium Est, which sets the atmosphere for the brawls.
