A Co-op Shooter-Looter on Pandora
Borderlands Game of the Year Enhanced drops you on the lawless desert planet Pandora as one of four mercenaries. Each mercenary has their own unique RPG skills, so your group can mix and match abilities as you progress. The goal is to hunt down The Vault, a piece of powerful alien technology, while fighting through the wasteland. The game leans into a comedic, sci-fi tone with dark humor, giving the action a lighter feel despite the violence.
Playing Together as a Crew
This is built for playing with friends. You can tear through the opposition as a crew of up to 4, combining your firepower to take down tougher enemies. Beyond the on-foot shooting, the game features intense vehicular combat where you can engage in frenetic vehicle-to-vehicle battles behind the wheel. The core loop of shooting enemies and grabbing loot works best when everyone is coordinating their attacks and sharing the spoils.
Guns, Style, and Progression
The main draw is the sheer volume of weaponry. You will find rocket-launching shotguns, enemy-torching revolvers, SMGs that fire lightning rounds, and plenty more. The game uses a distinct art style that combines traditional rendering with hand-drawn textures, giving it an iconic look. This Enhanced version includes visual upgrades for characters, environments, weapons, and textures, plus new weapons, new character heads, and new gold chests and keys for more loot.

Mad Moxxi's Underdome Riot offers a competitive arena where you face hundreds of foes. The Secret Armory of General Knoxx adds more story, guns, missions, and vehicles. Finally, Claptrap's New Robot Revolution has you fighting an uprising of your former Claptrap friends.
