Command a PT boat in the Pacific War
Boat Crew puts you in the commander's seat of a PT boat against the Imperial Japanese Navy. You are not just steering a vessel; you are responsible for a crew. That means managing resources, delegating tasks, and developing your sailors' skills so they perform at their best when the shooting starts. The boat itself can be customized with a wide selection of weapons and tools, letting you build loadouts that fit the mission ahead.
The core challenge is that you are the underdog. Your PT boat is lightly armored and outgunned, so raw firepower will not carry the day. Wins come from maneuvering, timing, and using your weaponry cleverly against stronger opponents.
Play through a dynamic campaign
The campaign is open and nonlinear. You decide where to commit your boat: raid enemy bases, protect allied convoys, or take on scripted missions that reveal what the crew is going through. Every decision feeds back into the wider war effort, and the world keeps moving even when you are not in a fight.
Progress is measured in Victory Points, earned by hitting strategic targets and disrupting enemy operations. Those points determine how the campaign goes in the Solomon Islands, so the missions you pick and how well you execute them both matter.
What to know before you start
Online Co-op is supported, so friends can join you in taking on the campaign together. The game carries a Difficult tag, and it is in Early Access, so expect rough edges and a demanding learning curve. Character customization is available, and choices you make along the way shape how events unfold.
