What Banana Shooter is

Banana Shooter is a fast-paced multiplayer shooter where you play as Dave, a banana man who wants bananas. You are not a banana yourself, so the only way to get one is to kill other Daves. Whoever holds the highest kill count at any moment gets the bananas. Matches are built around that simple chase: shoot, rack up kills, and stay on top. The game is played in 3D from a first-person view, and the whole setup is a multiplayer battle rather than a story campaign.

How a group plays it together

Everyone in your group drops into the same multiplayer battle and competes against each other. Before the fight you can configure your own gun or knife to match how you like to play, so each person can show up with a different loadout. Movement is a big part of the skill ceiling: you have a dash, a double jump, a grapple hook, and a rocket jump, which means fights happen at speed and vertical positioning matters as much as aim. There are multiple maps to rotate through, including a hot back room area with a strange-core look. Getting kills earns you coins, which you spend on upgrades such as movement speed and a higher maximum health.

What to know before starting

The upgrade system has a catch worth understanding up front. Your upgrades are cleared if you get killed, so a good streak is something you have to protect rather than something you bank permanently. That gives each life a roguelike feel even though the format is a straight multiplayer battle. Expect a quick, aggressive loop where momentum swings hard: lose your upgrades and you rebuild, keep your streak alive and you pull ahead. The tags attached to the game include content warnings around nudity, sexual content and horror themes, so check the store page yourself if anyone in your group is sensitive to that material before you all jump in.
