What Airport Security Sucks! is
Airport Security Sucks! is a multiplayer game where you either play as a TSA agent or as a smuggler trying to get contraband onto a plane. The agents get tools and weapons that real airport security could only dream of, including an FGM-148 Javelin anti-tank missile and souped-up segways, plus a sniffer dog and a butt-searching parrot. The smugglers get gadgets and ordinance of their own, and their job is to load up, blend in with the NPC air travelers, and stay undetected until the timer runs out. The tone is dark comedy and party chaos rather than a serious simulation, with stylized 3D visuals and a third-person and first-person mix.
Playing together as a group
You can play with friends or drop into public lobbies, and you can create lobbies as large as your PC can handle. On the smuggler side, groups work together to create distractions, troll the agents, or slip through unnoticed while the crowd moves. On the agent side, you hunt down the other players who are trying to pass as ordinary travelers, and you have to be careful not to hurt the innocent air travelers while you do it. Voice commands are a core part of the agent toolkit: you bark authoritative orders to control the flow of people through the checkpoint and to direct your K9 and parrot. The interface and voice control support 13 languages, so a mixed-language friend group can still play together.
Modes and what to know before starting
There are 4 maps, many game modes, and cosmetics to unlock. One of the standout modes is a social deduction round in the style of Among Us with two sides: the hijackers, who try to bring the plane down by any means necessary, and the air marshals, who try to eliminate the hijackers and guarantee a safe arrival. Other rounds run on a timer, so smugglers need to move fast and agents need to read the crowd quickly. Expect a lot of noise, movement, and betrayal between friends, and expect to be judged on how well you hide in plain sight rather than on raw aim alone.
