Undercover heist in a crowded map

Deceive Inc. is a first-person multiplayer heist game where you play a spy who has to blend into a location full of people, find the objective, and get out with it. Your holographic watch lets you disguise yourself as guests, staff, or security guards, which opens up restricted areas as long as nobody sees you shoot or get shot. The maps are filled with civilians to read, electronics to hack, locked-off rooms to sneak into, and windows to jump from. Rival spies are doing the same thing at the same time, so the run is a race against other players as much as against the security systems.

Playing with your group

The game supports online co-op and online PvP, so your group can queue up together and take on the other spies in the lobby. Everyone picks an agent from the roster, and each agent brings a unique weapon and skillset, which means you can split roles across the team rather than everyone running the same setup. Loadouts are built from gadgets like the Inflatable mat, holo-mimic, and bullet proof umbrella, so you can coordinate who carries what before the match starts. Only one spy completes the mission and gets the paycheck, so expect rivals to be working against you the whole way through.

Before you start

The core loop is infiltration, theft, and extraction: get inside, grab the objective, and break out without blowing your cover. Disguises hold up until you fire or take damage, so shooting is a last resort that costs you your cover. The roster has 8 Agents, and each one plays differently, so it is worth trying a few before settling on a main. Controller players get a reworked aim assist, and new players can ease in through bot lobbies. Security Guard behavior has been enhanced, so guards are more alert than before, and the gold keycard printer is available as part of the current gameflow changes.
