What AirMech Strike is
AirMech® Strike is a fast paced Action-RTS that mixes Tower Defense with light RTS gameplay. Your AirMech acts as the cursor for the battlefield: fly in from above to pick up and drop units where they are needed, or transform into mech mode and fight on the ground alongside them. There are 9 unique AirMech frames to choose from, each suiting a particular playstyle, plus many skins for each. You can master one frame or collect a full stable for more flexibility. Dozens of Units become available as you progress, so your army grows alongside your AirMech.
Playing together with your group
The game can be played solo, in co-op, or competitively online against other players or teams. In co-op you and your friends each bring your own AirMech and units to the fight, splitting roles between air support, ground fighting, and building your army. In competitive online play, groups face off against other teams. Earning Kudos and Experience in battle unlocks a wide collection of AirMechs and Units, so your group can unlock new frames and units as you play and compare what each of you has opened up.
Before you start
Gameplay related items are unlocked through play, with a lot of content to explore at your own pace, recovering Parts from defeated enemies to make your AirMechs more powerful as you advance. The game supports both mouse/keyboard and gamepad, though gamepad support is still a work in progress and plays well in-game. Pick a control scheme you are comfortable with before your first match, and settle on which AirMech frame fits how you like to play.
