What ZIC – Zombies in City is
ZIC – Zombies in City is a first person zombie survival shooter with a story mode about escaped survivors. A zombie infection has spread through the city and started an apocalypse, with the undead coming out of the fog at night. The people the virus has not touched are the last hope for humanity, and four of them end up together in a zombie killer squad that has to stop the pandemic with weapons. The squad has four heroes, each with their own character and history. Expect 10 different zombie types, plus monsters and enemy marauders to deal with along the way.
How a group plays it together
The core of the game is controlling a team of 4 characters and switching between them to use their unique abilities. That switching is what gives the squad its edge: you pick the right hero for the situation rather than relying on one loadout. The game also has online co-op, so friends can join in and take the campaign on together instead of running it alone. Either way, the shape of a session is the same — move through the city, hold back the walking dead, and keep the squad alive through the story.
Weapons and what to expect before starting
You get a large selection of deadly weapons to choose from: chainsaw, uzi, grenade, rocket launcher, AK-47, baton, machete, bat, pistol and revolver. Melee options like the bat, machete and baton sit alongside ranged firepower, so you can mix close-quarters clearing with shooting from a distance. The game carries violent and gore tags, and the enemy roster includes zombies, monsters and marauders, so the tone stays dark and hostile throughout. It is tagged as singleplayer and co-op, so you can play the campaign on your own or with others online.
