Race soapboxes down steep hills
Zeepkist is a physics-based racing game where you steer a soapbox down extreme downhill courses and try to set the best time. The handling leans into weird physics, so expect to bounce, slide, and occasionally crash. Adventure mode is a solo race against the clock, with over 100 official levels included while the game is in Early Access. Along the way you unlock hats and soapboxes, plus a large pile of achievements. There is also classic Dutch content, such as the stroopwafel soapbox and the hat of Dutch Santa.
Play together in the same room or online
Four players can race together in local multiplayer on one screen, crashing into each other on the way down. Online multiplayer supports rooms of up to 64 players, where everyone competes for the best times. Player-made levels from the Steam Workshop can be played in online multiplayer, so your group can race tracks built by the community as well as official ones. Remote Play Together is available as well.
Build your own tracks and share them
The level editor gives you the same tools the developer uses for official tracks, with over 2000 level editor blocks to place, including dynamic physics props and NPC cats. A paint tool lets you color levels however you like, multiple skyboxes can be picked from the settings menu, and a tree gun quickly adds greenery. Finished levels can be shared through the Steam Workshop for others to play.
Before you start
Zeepkist is in Early Access and still being actively developed, so features, content, and updates will keep changing over time. The game is tagged for controller use, which is worth having on hand for steering.
