What WE ARE FOOTBALL 2027 is

WE ARE FOOTBALL 2027 is a football management simulation where you run a club or a national team week by week. You handle finances, sponsors, staff, fan relations and membership, set training schedules and long-term development plans, and decide tactics down to playing styles, formations and individual instructions. The world is large: two databases are included, one Europe-focused and one covering more than 200 countries, and every match in that world is simulated the same way, with no shortcuts, so you can watch any of them in 3D. You can also follow a club or national team from the outside in spectator mode instead of managing it yourself.

Three game modes are available: Free Club Selection, Club Creation and Career Mode, with an optional regional start that lets you begin in your local district and climb through regional cups toward the national stage. A Creative Mode gives you direct control over your football universe, including rewriting rules, rebuilding systems and jumping to any club in the world with a single click. National team play is separate, with European Championship and World Cup modes for men and women, and you can take a national job from the start or accept offers during a career.

Playing it together

The game supports hotseat multiplayer for up to 4 players, so a group can share one machine and take turns in the manager's chair across the same save. Remote Play Together is also listed as a Steam feature, letting friends join in over the internet. On top of that, the store text lists multiplayer and 4 Player Local among the tags, so a group sitting together is a supported way to play. Because every club in the world is simulated identically, players at the table can watch matches in 3D, check live score changes and review goals from ongoing matches in the game world after the fact.

Before you start

Expect a fast week-to-week flow with an accelerated weekly schedule, and know that you can set how complex and how fast your career runs, including the number of simulated league tiers in each nation. Transfers run through multi-stage negotiations that play out over days or weeks, with reflection time and competing offers from rival clubs, so deals rarely resolve instantly.

The game includes an external editor for building league systems, cups, clubs, stadiums, players, managers, staff, referees, sponsors, fan chants and derbies, plus in-game editors that adjust club, staff and player data during an ongoing save. Community expansions are supported. Matches can be shown as short or long 3D scenes, or replaced with an alternative quick calculation if you would rather not watch.
