Fast-paced demon shooting
Warstride Challenges puts you in a series of trials where you blast hordes of demons as quickly as you can. The clock is always running, so movement and shooting have to happen at the same time. You can slow time to line up difficult headshots, bunny hop to build speed, slide around corners, and use destructive shockwaves to tear through groups of enemies. The combat is bloody and direct, and the goal in each trial is to get through it fast while keeping your score high. When a run falls apart, you restart and go again, aiming to clean up the route and push the score further.
Playing together with friends
The game includes Online PvP, so you can compete against other players. Nemesis Mode lets you race asynchronously against anyone online, including your favorite streamers, by chasing their ghost through the same trial. You can also compete with friends and the wider community for the highest score, and the global leaderboard shows where your run lands. The shared goal is simple: post a better time and a higher score than the people you are racing.
Before you start
Expect a difficult game built around repeated attempts. Each trial is designed to be retried until you find the cleanest line through it, so dying and restarting is part of the loop rather than a setback. Progress unlocks an arsenal of weapons and powers that you can bring into later challenges. The game also ships with a level editor, and the community has already created hundreds of levels to play and share, which gives you a large pool of runs to attempt beyond the built-in trials.
