Mechs playing a future sport
Ultimechs is a VR sports game where you remotely pilot a mech in an arena and fight over a ball. You aim your mech's fist, fire it with GauntJet tech, and steer the punch in mid-air so it hits the ball's sweet spot. You can knock the ball away from the other team, pass it to a teammate, or drive it into the goal zone to score. The movement is 6DOF and physics-based, so handling a big, fast target takes real control.
Playing with your group
The main format is 2v2, where you and a partner communicate, plan and react together to move up the field. There is also 1v1 if your group would rather settle it head to head with a single opponent. Matches are competitive online play, so your group can pair up or split across teams. Because passing and positioning matter, talking through the play with your partner is part of the game.
Choosing a mech
Three classes are available, each with a different style. The Viper is built for speed and agility above everything else. The Nitro is explosive and can detonate its GauntJet while in flight. The Titan is the powerhouse, using size and strength to bully the field. Pick one that fits how you like to play, or try a different class when your group changes roles between matches.
Before you start
Ultimechs is a VR game, so a compatible VR setup is required to play. It is free to play and includes both online co-op and online PvP, and it can be played on your own as well. Expect a competitive, arcade-style sports match rather than a long campaign — the focus is on short rounds of punching, passing and scoring with a teammate or against one.
