A top-down defense mission in a sealed-off city
Ultimate Zombie Defense is a top-down survival horror set in the suburbs of a once quiet city in continental Europe. A 250km landmass around the city has been sealed off to contain the outbreak, and every attempt to stop it has failed so far. You and your friends are elite military members dropped into the plague zone with a single mission: locate and destroy the source of the infection. The infected come in more than 12 unique monster types, and unique boss fights wait to test even the most seasoned zombie slayers.
Playing together online
You can play solo in offline mode, or team up with up to three friends for four-player online co-op. Between waves, the group builds and upgrades a base using chain link fences, sandbags, barbed wire, concrete barriers, turrets, mines, fog lights and other military-grade components. Deciding where to place defenses and which weapons to bring is a shared job, so coordinating with your team matters as much as your aim. The weapon selection ranges from the classic pump shotgun to the flamethrower, grenade launcher and mini-gun. There are 8 unique characters to choose from, and slow-mo triggers during your most impressive moments.
What to know before starting
The game is tagged as difficult, and the violence includes gore. Metal music plays while you fight through the hordes, so expect a loud, intense atmosphere alongside the top-down shooting and base building.
