A chicken runs the last base on Earth

Keep Her Safe is a top-down survival shooter where humanity is gone and chickens are in charge. You play a high-IQ chicken trying to keep a base running in a wasteland soaked by seven days of acid rain, which spawned zombie hordes and intelligent animals. The base has an Energy Core at its heart, and keeping that core alive is the main job. Around it you scavenge the wasteland for loot, craft weapons and gear, and build defensive structures to stand against waves that get more dangerous over time. The long-term goal is to launch the rocket that will stop the rain. There is also a survivor lady back at base who is apparently worth paying attention to once you stop dying.

Playing together with your group

The game supports online co-op, so your group can team up for wasteland warfare. Everyone shares the same job: defend the base, hold off the hordes, and push toward the rocket. Building defenses is where coordination matters most, since structures are what keep the Energy Core standing as threats escalate. Crafting also rewards talking things through, because you combine weapons and gear to answer specific enemies, mutant monsters, and unknown threats rather than relying on one loadout for everything. Friendly fire is real with flamethrowers, so watch where you spray when the horde closes in around your friends. Online PvP is listed as a feature for when the group wants a different kind of fight.

Mini-games between runs

When the survival grind gets heavy, there are multiplayer mini-games to break up the session, including playing soccer with the boys after a hard day's work. These are casual rounds meant for blowing off steam rather than defending the core, so they work well as a palate cleanser between longer base-defense stretches.

Before you start

Expect a loop built around scavenging, building, crafting, and defending in repeating waves, with base management sitting alongside the shooting. The setting is post-apocalyptic and futuristic, and the tone is cute despite the zombies and acid rain. Plan for sessions where the group splits attention between fortifying the base, venturing out for resources, and coordinating gear against whatever shows up next.
