What Trivia Tricks Is
Trivia Tricks is an online quiz game for up to 8 players, built around thousands of questions spread across 13 categories. The range covers familiar ground like Music and Geography alongside more specific subjects such as Video Games and Anime. Beyond the built-in material, Quiz Packs created by other players can be downloaded from the Steam Workshop with a single click, so the topic list keeps growing. The presentation leans into a colorful, cartoonish look with character customization, and your trivia achievements unlock cosmetics for the character creator.
Playing Together
There are two main ways to run a session with friends. You can play competitively against each other in standard quiz rounds, or you can team up and take on the eight trivia bosses in Co-Op. Each boss has its own rule set and specialist subject, so the co-op run changes shape as you move through them. Friends who do not own the game can join for free through Friend Pass. If your group includes a streamer, the lobby can accept Twitch Chat as a participant, letting the audience vote on answers; up to 4 streamers can each bring their whole chatroom, setting up Chat vs Chat matchups.
Before You Start
One rule worth agreeing on up front is Chance Round. It lets you risk points already earned for items that can swing the game, which adds a layer of strategy on top of the trivia itself. If your group wants a straight knowledge contest with no gambling on points, Chance Round can be turned off. Also worth noting: the game supports Remote Play Together, so someone can share their session locally with a friend.
