Pilot and Titan in one fight
Titanfall® 2 is a first-person shooter from Respawn Entertainment where you play as a Pilot on foot and call down a Titan, a large mech you climb into and fight from. The single player campaign follows a Militia rifleman stranded behind enemy lines who meets a veteran Vanguard-class Titan. The two have to work together on a mission neither was meant to carry out, and the story is built around that bond between Pilot and Titan. Expect action with inventive twists rather than a slow build.
Playing with your group
Multiplayer is the part your group will share. It is fast-paced online PvP with team-based combat, and the match is fought on two levels at once: Pilots moving on foot with wall-running parkour and Pilot abilities, and Titans clashing in heavy mech combat. You pick a loadout and a Titan, and the customization and progression systems let you shape how your Pilot and Titan fit together. The game includes 6 new Titans, new Pilot abilities, new maps and new modes, plus expanded personalization for Pilots, Titans and loadouts so you stand out in the middle of the chaos. Matches are first-person throughout, so the action stays close and quick.
Before you start
The campaign is single player, so it is something you play on your own rather than with the group. The multiplayer portion is where you team up and queue together. The game carries tags for gore and violent content, so keep that in mind before anyone jumps in. If you have the Ultimate Edition, you start with all Titans and all Pilot tacticals unlocked, 500 credits for loadouts, cosmetics and gear, ten 2x XP tokens, plus the Deluxe Edition and Jump-Starter cosmetics, which means less unlocking before you can build the loadout you want.
