Command Wolfram and the White Fangs
TINY METAL: FULL METAL RUMBLE is a turn-based tactics game where you move squads across a grid and fight the mysterious Dinoldan forces. The story campaign follows three commanders bonded by fate, each with their own squad to lead and strengthen, as they work to stop the excavation of ancient tech. Battles take place across open fields, mountain ranges, icy tundras and through the air. The campaign is fully voice acted, with a soundtrack by Tomoki Miyoshi, and you can pick either the Japanese or English voice cast. Alongside the campaign there are 39 challenging missions, 77 skirmish maps and more than 23 unique units to master, so there is plenty of ground to cover once the main story is done.
How a group plays it together
Online PvP is where your group meets on the battlefield. You build a squad, pick a commander, and test your strategy against your friends or anyone else online. Each commander carries a special ability that boosts the squad when things get tight, adding range, defence or other stat gains, so matching commanders to your plan matters as much as the units you bring. Between matches the METALPEDIA breaks down every unit and battle situation, which gives everyone something concrete to argue over and improve on before the next game. Skirmish mode is also there for looser, custom matches when the group wants to try a specific map or setup.
What to know before starting
Combat is grid-based and turn-based, so expect to think a few moves ahead rather than react in real time. Positioning is the core of it: capture and hold key resources like factories to keep your economy running, and place your squad so several units can deliver FOCUS FIRE attacks on a single target for heavy damage. The world map can be travelled freely on land or in the air, and exploring it uncovers secret unlockables that expand your map and music libraries. The game welcomes all skill levels, so a group with mixed experience can start in the campaign and move to online matches at its own pace.
