Build the park and its coasters

Thrillville®: Off the Rails™ is a theme park game where you create the park yourself and then walk around inside it. You get five new parks to work with, spread across 15 themed areas such as Battleville, Winterville, Spaceville and Aeroville. The headline attraction is the 20 "WHOA Coasters": tracks that leap from one section to another, launch cars through the air like cannonballs, or blast them through a burning ring of fire. Named examples include Hotrod Stunt, where a nitro boost carries a car across a broken track, Pendulizer, where a giant arm grabs the car before a gap, swings it a full circle and sets it down on the far side, and Escape Drop, where the track lifts the car to a 90-degree vertical and then lets go. Beyond coasters there are over 40 thrill rides in total, and you can dress them up with animatronics, flowers and flaming hoops.

Play with friends

The game carries 34 playable multiplayer minigames: 14 new ones plus 20 returning from the original Thrillville with new levels. That is the main way a group plays together, jumping into minigames rather than all steering the same coaster. Steam lists Remote Play Together and local multiplayer, so friends can join in from there. A story mode runs through more than 100 missions, and the minigames sit alongside it rather than replacing it.

Talk to the guests before you start

Park guests are worth paying attention to. Conversations with them advance the plot and also suggest better ways to manage the park, so chatting is part of running things well, not just flavour. The game hints that not every guest can be trusted, which matters when you are handing out advice. Expect a mix of building and management on one side and action, racing and minigame play on the other — the park is yours to shape, but a chunk of the fun comes from stepping away from the desk and riding what you built.
