What The MoneyMakers Rallye is
The MoneyMakers Rallye is a turn-based race across Europe where the goal is not really speed, it's wealth. Each stage draws a destination city, and whoever gets there first collects the prize money. Between stages you keep building your fortune through properties, cards and a bit of luck. The board is top-down and colorful, with 98 cities spread over 50 countries where you can put your money to work. You get 42 playable cards, 7 upgrades and a steady stream of random events, so no two runs play out the same way. Money sitting still is money wasted, so the game keeps pushing you to invest rather than hoard.
How a group plays it together
The game supports up to 6 players, computer players included, and you can play locally, online, or mix both at once. That means part of your group can be on the couch and part of it joining over the internet in the same session. On your turn you move across the board, land on fields that let you collect or buy cards, and use those cards tactically to gain an edge, stir up chaos, or make yourself unpopular with everyone else. Properties in each city raise your income, and casino fields let you try BlackJack or Roulette when you feel like gambling instead of playing it safe. After every completed stage the whole table gets a shot at the lottery, so a bad run can turn around quickly.
What to know before starting
Watch out for Sir Clepton. He likes globetrotters and slowpokes, and he is always up to no good, so being the furthest from the finish line when a round ends is a bad place to be. The game is turn-based and tactical rather than a reflex racer, so expect a longer session where positioning, card timing and investment decisions matter more than driving skill. A controller is supported. The tone is casual and playful, and the game is built for groups who enjoy messing with each other as much as winning, so pick your opponents accordingly.
